Different types of treasures are also present at different levels of the game, and finding those treasures helps a player unlocking new weapons and gaining more power to complete the game. However, sometimes a few players lose interest in such a long game and leave the game in between.

However, Okami has a great art style and has a unique backdrop that keeps the player glued to the game. Okami is packed with a lot of content, and the gameplay is good enough to keep the player interested. Okami keeps introducing new concepts throughout the game, making the game a little more challenging and a bit lengthy.

Optional treasures are something that a player can ignore if the player wants to finish the game as soon as possible. Video game lovers will find it a bit easy to finish the game as they have a habit of playing video games regularly, whereas new players will start more cautiously and take a bit longer. Finally, it can be concluded that the time required to complete Okami depends on several factors, which include gameplay, speed, accuracy, and the determination of a player to play the game.

Nov 4, I've heard great things about the game, both for the original and all iterations of the remastered versions, and I know it has received very positive reviews. As one of Capcom's more creative titles, Okami's art style is fantastic and the backdrop is unique, and it's a Zelda-like.

You really can't go wrong here, right? Well, I'm a thirty-something at this point in my life, and one thing before making a decision to buy a game is to look up how long it takes to beat the game the how long to beat website is a great resource. And the average time it takes to beat Okami is Now I'm leaning against purchasing what I know for a fact is a universally acclaimed game, at a budget price, just because I cannot fathom to make a 40 hour commitment to a single game at this stage of my life.

The last lengthy game that required a lot of hours from me that I played through was The Witcher 3. I have nothing but respect to the original creators of Okami and their decision to make game packed with so much content. The fault lies within me, and life itself, I guess. I'm much more like to try a typical modern 10 hour-campaign game.

Or shorter indie games. Completely different game I know, but it's a very well-received game and has short playtime hours? Now I forgot why I decided create this thread Maybe someone would persuade me that get Okami anyways.

Maybe I'll buy it now and stash it until I retire, and I can play this game when I'm 80 when all I will have is time. PS14 better have full backwards compatibility! Oct 25, 11, Sword Familiar Member. Jan 9, 2, Sweden.

Nothing wrong with that. Your time is valuable. That said, I don't have that much time to spend on games anymore either, but I have no problem chipping at longer games over a longer period of time. If you feel like that's not your thing choose a shorter game. There are plenty of good games out there. Ryuelli Member. Oct 26, 11, I do this too OP, especially as I get older.

I'm pretty apprehensive about starting longer games these days. ShinUltramanJ Member. Oct 27, 11, I can still chip away at it provided the gameplay loop is good enough to keep me interested. Even if i take forever to beat something, as long as i enjoy it, it doesnt matter. Dec 14, 3, Rio de Janeiro. About 48 hours. My last time? The problem is me, not the games themselves. I don't for a second fear that the game overstays its welcome, or doesn't remain fun for the entire 50 hours.

It's that I can't play them that long without taking breaks of days or even weeks in between, due to personal life, and when you leave a long game alone, it gets harder to come back. The larger the gap between play sessions, the more difficult it is to return, until you reach the point where you have to write it off. I used to play RPGs a lot too, and loved them. I still think they're great I just can't play them. I think a 10 hour retail game is about perfect for me, as long as those 10 hours are hand crafted and have a lot of TLC.

But a hour RPG pretty much means that I won't be playing it. I still want to play Okami. Does the game break things up into small chunks that you can stop at? For example, I could complete a whole dungeon, and then stop. Tomorrow I do the next dungeon. How long are the dungeons? If they're 2 hours or less, I think I'll be fine.
